1. Install the App
- Click Install on the BigCommerce Marketplace listing.
- Approve the required permissions to connect the app to your store.
2. Create Your First Customizer
- Open the Product Customizer app from your BigCommerce Apps menu.
- Click Create Customizer.
- Choose the customization mode:
- Text only
- Image only
- Text + Image
- (Optional) Upload a background image for your product.
- Add fonts, colors, pricing rules, and sides/views as needed.
3. Assign the Customizer to Products
- In the app, select Assign to Products.
- Choose one or more products from your catalog.
- Save your assignment settings.
4. Configure Add to Cart Behavior
- Select whether you want to:
- Require customization before the product can be added to cart, or
- Allow both standard and customized purchases.
5. Test the Customizer on Your Storefront
- Visit a product page where the customizer is assigned.
- Ensure the visual editor appears correctly.
- Test text input, image upload, and preview rendering.
6. Review Orders with Customizations
- When a customer places an order, open the order in your BigCommerce admin.
- View the final preview and original uploaded files for production.
